Coaching People Through Grief

Professional Manual for Grief-Informed Coaches · Coming 2027

I’m currently writing a practitioner’s manual for coaches who want to work confidently and ethically with grief.

The book brings together grief theory, coaching practice, ethical guidance and practical tools to support clients navigating bereavement, identity rupture, existential loss and other profound life transitions.

It will help coaches:

  • understand grief and its impact on identity, meaning and capacity
  • work with grief without trying to fix, minimise or accelerate it
  • develop practical tools for grief-informed coaching
  • recognise the boundaries between coaching and therapy
  • use clear intake, screening and referral approaches
  • work within an ethical and appropriate scope of practice

Coming in 2027.
